Thankful Thursday #8

I’m thankful that I found the Andre’ Crouch version of “I’ve Got Confidence” on youtube that I’ve embedded below. This song has been on my mind ever since I got some kinda/sorta disturbing news on Monday. I couldn’t get too upset about it because God has already provided me strength to deal with it and, through the joys of pharmaceuticals, has given my body the tools to take care of the biophysical. Isn’t that amazing?!? From the song “… no matter what the case may be, I know my God is gonna fix it for me”. Can you think of a better reason to be thankful?

    Last night one of the Tweets posted this statement that said, “I have come to realize that when my heart is broken, God only puts back the best pieces.” That was so completely comforting to me. I am really thankful for Twitter because it has given me another realm of friends and moments of encouragement.
