Magic Monday and Possible Goofy Goings-On

Okay, well, what was magic about yesterday? I woke up (early even!) and then :: poof :: the day was gone and it was past my bedtime. Somebody made Monday disappear!

As to the goofy goings-on, my doc yesterday gave me a new med to start today. One of the side effects is drowsiness so hopefully I’ve timed it well enough that I can get Anthony to apply for a job and hopefully have an interview and then to the high school to arrange for his transcript to be sent to the college before it kicks in. (I really need this kid to be ready to drive!) Anyhoola, when I’m particularly tired I tend to say goofy things and my spelling sorta goes inside out (it’s a stroke residual) so if y’all notice any weirdness here later, just nod and smile and come back tomorrow! ;-) If I do get wacky and try to post, it should be amusing because I lose words, particularly nouns, and end up calling one thing something entirely unrelated.  Just last night I referred to Anth as Jehosophat! My “residual moments” can be pretty amusing around here!

That graphic is priceless! And sometimes at least when you are slamming your head on the wall you feel like you are getting somewhere. My Mom used to say that when kids reach the teenage years you should lock them in a box and not let them out until they are able to reason again. I thought that was horrid, but now…

@Deanna, feel free to right-click and grab it. A friend sent it to me last year and, hey, I’m a mom of teens — it fits my life a lot of days! Your mom might be on to something there ya know…

  • Two To Pray

My service that I feel called to do is to offer to be a prayer partner for anyone who has specific requests.

As Matthew 18:19-20 says: Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
